MONITORING OF FILAMENTOUS ALGAE IN THE FRENCH MEDITERRANEAN
The “Filam’ed” network provides users of the Medtrix platform with all the filamentous algae observations made by Andromède océanologie and its partners. It contains the observations of the TEMPO and RECOR monitoring networks, the ground truths made during the SURFSTAT mission and the data collected during other scientific expeditions, but also the observations from the BioObs participative science platform (https://bioobs.fr/). The objective of this project is to present a map of the distribution of filamentous algae in the French Mediterranean, and thus to allow the identification of the sectors with the greatest presence.
You have the possibility to visualize the observations of filamentous algae realized during the campaigns of monitoring networks (RECOR and TEMPO), of the campaigns of towed dives (ground truth) and scientific expeditions, directly on the platform, by clicking on the button “Access to the maps”, just below.
